Once the legislative process is finalised, the relevant harmonised rules need to be updated in time for the fourth trading period (2021–2030) so that free allocation for the installations under the EU ETS can be established. The free allocation rules as well as the extensive support documentation, including the guidance documents will have to be revised and adapted accordingly and the contractor is supposed to provide assistance in this process. |
