THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT TO THE BOEING COMPANY , INC ., This multi - platform contract provides the 848 SCMG engineering with a vehicle to receive engineering assistance and solutions from the Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ). This support is critical for issues affecting structures , avionics , accessories , ground support , and commodity items for which the Government ’ s existing data package , even when including Government Purpose Rights ( GPR ), Form , Fit , and Function ( FFF ), or Operation , Maintenance , Installation , and Training ( OMIT ) data , is insufficient to perform the required Operational Safety , Suitability , and Effectiveness ( OSS & E ) analysis . This contract addresses tasks that require access to the OEM ' s proprietary internal data systems , detailed design data , or specialized analytical tools not delivered to the Government . These commodity items are used on B - 1 , B - 52 , C - 17 , E - 3 , F - 15 , KC - 135 , KC - 46 , AGM - 86 and other weapon systems . The Contractor must have access or can obtain access , and the rights to access , B - 1 , B - 52 , C - 17 , E - 3 , F - 15 , KC - 135 , KC - 46 and AGM - 86 OEM internal data systems to retrieve weapon system design data .
