The City of Milton is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional support in the review of development proposals , with particular emphasis on building architecture , site layout , and overall design quality . The selected consultant will work closely with Community Development staff and coordinate with the Design Review Board to ensure consistency with adopted design guidelines and the community ’ s character . Responsibilities include assisting staff , applicants , stakeholders , boards , and committees by evaluating architectural elements , recommending design improvements , and promoting best practices in site planning , placemaking , and project integration within the surrounding context . All qualified proposals will receive consideration without regard to age , handicap , religion , creed or belief , political affiliation , race , color , sex , or national origin . The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid / proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities , and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton .
