RFP for Open Space Mowing Services

South Suburban Parks and Recreation District is requesting proposals from landscape maintenance firms for the performance of mowing services within designated areas of the District . Proposals must be emailed to Seth Swanson atsswanson @ ssprd . orgby 6 : 00 p . m . local time March 20 , 2026 . Proposals received after this time will not be accepted or considered . The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities . The areas to be mowed are the Big Dry Creek Trail , Columbine Trail and Wynetka Park , Little Dry Creek Trail , Walnut Hills , Willow Creek Trail , Highline Canal Trail , Lee Gulch Trail , Littleton Community Trail , Kimmer Park , Wildcat Ridge , Province / Kline Homestead , and Trailmark neighborhood . Specified areas for each site need to be mowed including both sides of the trail need to be mowed where there is native vegetation . One mow width is all that is required on trail edges and fence lines . All signs , fences and benches next to the trail need to be trimmed around . See more
