With a unique mandate, UNCDF blends and deploys grants, loans, and guarantees alongside related advisory support.The LoCAL Nepal project aims to:·Increase availability of climate finance to local government to implement gender-responsive and inclusive climate change adaptation investments;·Address climate change impact at the local level while investing in climate resilient development pathways;·Strengthen the capacities of local governments and their communities for effective adaptation actions that also support their sustainable development.The objective of the assignment is to:Strengthen the capacity of pilot local governments to mainstream climate change adaptation into planning,budgetingand investment processes;Support the effective implementation and institutionalization of Performance-Based Climate Resilience Grants (PBCRGs) under the LoCAL framework in Nepal;Deliver technical assistance to ensure the effective implementation of PBCRG funded Climate Adaptation Investments in LoCAL pilot Local Governments.Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
