The Consultant shall provide : A . Intersection / interchange configurations to include the following : 1 ) Roundabouts : mini , compact , conventional single lane and multilane / hybrid configurations . 2 ) Median U - Turn ( MUT ). 3 ) Reduced Conflict Intersection ( RCI ) / Superstreet . 4 ) Jug Handle . 5 ) Displaced Left Turn ( DLT ). 6 ) Green - T – signalized and unsignalized . 7 ) Quadrant Roadway . 8 ) Diverging Diamond Interchange ( DDI ). B . Proposed alternative Intersection designs will follow best practices as established by GDOT . Design refinement will be identified to maximize the operational and safety performance of the alternative intersections while considering project - specific constraints . Tasks to be performed include : 1 ) Provide Monthly Progress Reports that track , record , and summarize all activities . 2 ) Intersection Control Evaluation ( ICE ), which will include the roundabout and other alternatives , such as innovative intersections . 3 ) Preparation of Traffic Engineering Studies , including operational analysis , safety performance prediction , benefit / cost comparison , and cursory environmental impact assessment . 4 ) Preparation and / or review of Concept Reports . 5 ) Concept Validation Reviews . 6 ) Review of Plans Submittals – Preliminary and Final . 7 ) Preparation of plans applying adhering to NEPA requirements and GDOT Project Development Process and Plan Preparation Guide provisions . 8 ) Research of alterative intersection design operations safety and design elements . 9 ) Policy and guidelines formulation , review , and development . 10 ) Develop and deliver planning and design training in - person and virtual . 11 ) Assist with public outreach and Public Information Open House meetings – meeting content displays and presentation . 12 ) Support and coordination with Safety and Operations contracts . 13 ) Traffic Forecasts in accordance with the Office of Planning content and documentation requirements . 14 ) In - service , pre / post - construction safety and operations audits . 15 ) Incremental review and mentoring of GDOT staff and consultants on all aspects of planning , design , and construction plan preparation . 16 ) On - call Support – phone calls , web conferences , and / or other meetings outside of the project ’ s formal peer review . 17 ) Prepare and give presentations . 18 ) Executive - Level Briefings .
