The primary objective of the project is to establish a systemic and inclusive approach to plastic waste management at the Local Authority (LA) level by strengthening collection, segregation, recovery, and recycling systems within seven selected Local Authorities (LAs) in the Colombo District that channel municipal waste to the Karadiyana Waste Management Centre (KWMC), including Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council, Dehiwala–Mount Lavinia Municipal Council, Moratuwa Municipal Council, Kesbewa Urban Council, Boralesgamuwa Urban Council, Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha, and Maharagama Urban Council.As an essential component of this initiative, the procurement process will focus on the Procurement of Recyclable Plastic Collection and Processing Equipment.Qualified bidders are invited to submit their bids for the applicable LOT of the RFQ, "RFQ/TCCF/2608/49 - Recyclable Plastic Collection and Processing Equipment"This procurement consists of 04 LOTs.LOT 01 -Crusher MachineLOT 02 -Baler MachineLOT 03 -ScalesLOT 04 -Bulk Packaging Bags (FIBC/Jumbo Bags)Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide.In case you have never registered before, you can register a profile using the registration link shared via the procurement notice and following the instructions in guides available in the UNDP website:https://www.undp.org/procurement/business/resources-for-bidders.Do not create a new profile if you already have one.
