The work includes installation of A304 / A304L stainless steel structural support members onto the existing stainless - steel structure located in one of the nitrification tanks at SBRSA ' s River Road Treatment Plant . Appurtenant work involves cleaning the existing stainless - steel supports at the mating surfaces , drilling mounting holes in the existing stainless - steel supports , fastening new support members to the existing members , and the removal and installation of new shimming , grout , and the installation of epoxy anchored mounts that fix the existing members to the underside of the existing concrete walking platform .
