This Quote Bid is issued by the Department of Parks Heritage and Tourism for the Parks Operations division to obtain pricing and a contract for a Major Maintenance project . The extent of this project involves comprehensive removal and replacement of damaged , leaking roofs and deteriorated gutters across three buildings located within Petit Jean State Park . The objective is to fully replace and restore the roofs , gutters , and their structural components to a safe , functional , and code - compliant condition . Building Number 08 . 02 ; Specifications for 8 ” box Gutters with leaf guard on OTF building and CNC breezeway Contractor to Provide : 1 . Contractor shall be responsible for all safety barriers to keep bystanders out of work areas and at a safe distance . 2 . Contractor shall perform the removal of existing gutters as well as the removal of all debris from project site . 3 . Contractor shall furnish all Labor , tools , Equipment and Materials to install new 8 ” box style seamless gutters and new downspouts and new leaf box brand product on gutters ( Approx . 150 ’ lin . Ft .) and new downspouts installed in the existing locations . Note that this also includes replacing 16 ’ lin . Ft . of 6 ” gutter on the CNC breezeway . 4 . Contractor shall configure all downspouts with elbows so that the downspouts can be strapped to the building and a min . of two straps . 5 . Contractor shall be responsible for making sure that they use the proper gutter hangers and that gutters are the appropriate angle and distance form fascia to maximize water collection . 6 . Contractor shall install concrete splash blocks at all downspouts to divert water away from building . Gutters color shall be white . 7 . Contractor shall be responsible for making sure that the proper hardware is used and all end caps , elbows , drop outlets and inside and outside corners and straps are attached with proper fasteners . 8 . Contractor shall install the entire gutter system to meet manufacturer ’ s specifications and any state , county , and city building codes . Building Number 08 . 03 ; Specifications : For new 26 - gauge metal PBR panel roofing with exposed fasteners Contractor to Provide : 1 . Contractor shall perform the removal of existing metal . And the removal of all debris from project site . And to cordon off work areas where guests could possibly get injured . 2 . Sign shop storage - contractor shall install new ( 26 ga )( 0 . 48mm ) metal PBR ( purlin bearing rib ) panel roofing with exposed fasteners roof system with galvalume finish with 40 - year warranty and 10 - year warranty on labor with a WMP - 50 ( premium heavy - duty insulation ) underlayment over entire roofing surface . Approx . ( 3 ’ 060 sf .) and Approx . ( 104 ’ lin . Ft . rake trim ) and Approx . ( 60 ’ lin . Ft . Ridge ). Note new roof shall include all trim and accessories required to complete the roof . 3 . Contractor shall Note that this also includes breezeway between buildings this includes removing metal Approx . ( 192 ’ lin . ft .) and installing new wood decking and then installing TPO roofing membrane glued over decking with all trim and accessories required to complete the roof . 4 . Contractor shall install the entire roof system to meet manufacturer ’ s specifications and any state , county , and city building codes . 5 . Contractor shall install a butyl tape under PBR panel overlaps to prevent leaks or equivalent . 6 . Contractor shall install new roof vent boots / jacks . Roof vent boots & flashing to best match roofing color . Roofing color galvalume . 7 . Contractor shall move any plumbing vents pipes that are not metal or cast and are too close to metal ribs preventing proper installation of boots / jacks and flashings . 8 . Contractor shall install fittings / elbows to move the pipes to provide proper installation of all boots / jacks and flashing . 9 . Contractor shall be responsible for re - sealing all roof penetrations . 10 . Contractor shall be responsible for removing cable or satellite dishes and no dishes shall be attached to new metal roof . 11 . Contractor shall remove and reinstall and protect all gutters and down spouts , if applicable . 12 . Photographs may be requested by Greg Hart during the installation .
