Description | In accordance with M . G . L . c . 30 , § 39M , it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of furnishing and applying a Rubber Chip Seal Surface Treatment on properly prepared bituminous streets within the Town of Franklin . Bidders must be pre - qualified with MassDOT for PAVEMENT - SURFACING for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below . The work to be performed will consist of furnishing and applying a 20 % Asphalt - Rubber Surface Treatment on properly prepared bituminous streets at various locations , and an immediate application of aggregate to the treated roadways in accordance with the specifications . Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices , which shall constitute full compensation for all material , labor , equipment , etc ., required to satisfactorily complete the work . |
