Description | The Contractor is allowed to close Van Dorn Street . Coordination between the Contractor and homeowners along the project to ensure local to maintain access to their residences is a priority . All traffic control shall be provided in accordance with the requirements outlined in these Special Provisions , the current Standard Specifications , the current edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices ( MUTCD ), and the City of Lincoln Traffic Control Guidelines Manual . The Contractor shall submit a traffic control plan and phasing plan for completion of all work associated with the project to the City ’ s Project Manager for review and approval at a minimum of one week prior to the pre - construction meeting . The submitted traffic control plan shall be designed and signed by a professional engineer . The schedule shall clearly identify the critical path . |
