Description | The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 12.201-1 to obtain Waste and recycling Services for the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. Anticipated Period of performance: 01/01/2026 to 12/31/2030 Basic description of the requirement: Non-hazardous solid waste and sludge (trash) disposal at a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation approved landfill within 25 miles of the Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC), 400 Fort Hill Ave, Canandaigua, NY 14424. The landfill facility shall provide non-hazardous waste disposal to include weight station services to the Canandaigua VAMC, the medical center shall provide vehicles and personnel to transport the non-hazardous waste to the landfill facility. The landfill facility shall provide the vehicles and personnel to haul two roll-off containers used for the recycling facilities. Place of Performance: Canandaigua VA Medical Center 400 Fort Hill Ave Canandaigua, NY 14424 NAICS code: 562212-Solid Waste Landfill $47 Million Intended Source: CASELLA WASTE MANAGEMENT OF NY INC 5 Wall ST STE 200 Clifton Park, New York 12065-3851, United States THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on 11/25/2025 at 10:00 am EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Specialist Cara Grittner at cara.grittner@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. |
