Carpet Replacement The scope of work for flooring replacement includes the complete removal of existing carpeting and the installation of new flooring as specified below . • Materials : o Interface Carpet Tiles : for general floor areas o Broadloom Carpet : for all staircases o LVT : for staff work areas and public programming areas • Services : o Removal of existing flooring and disposal o Adhesive application o Slab preparation o Installation of new interface carpet o Installation of new broadloom carpet for stairs o Installation of new LVT II . Moving Services Moving services are required to facilitate the renovation work , ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of library contents and the subsequent return to original positions . • Services : o Relocation of furniture , shelving , and stacks on both the lower and upper floors o All items to be returned to their original placement upon completion of renovation work |
