The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary engineering design for the Samish Way & Maple Street Overlay project . The project proposes to resurface the roadway to improve pavement conditions . In addition to resurfacing , the project will improve corridor lighting by relocating existing streetlights and installing additional fixtures to enhance visibility and safety for all users . This project has a 0 % FSBE goal with a 10 % SBE voluntary goal . The major features of the project are as follows : · Roadway resurfacing · Streetlight analysis and design Other features of the project are as follows : · Collect Survey and lighting data for the areas shown within the project vicinity map . · Perform an environmental analysis , assessment of permitting needs , and assist the City in acquiring necessary permits for CN obligation ( i . e . NEPA , cultural resources , etc .). · Prepare complete bid documents including construction plans , technical specifications , and engineers estimate ( PS & E ). · Other work that may be included , depending on project funding or as part of future amendments : o Services during bidding
