Contractor will remove all large debris between snow fence and shoreline prior to grading sand . Debris includes but is not limited to trees , building construction materials , stumps , logs , etc . that have washed ashore over the course of the winter . Debris will be removed from Grand Haven State Park by contractor . Contractor is responsible for contacting Miss Dig prior to performing any work , to allow adequate time for buried utilities to be marked . Sand removed from all areas will be taken down to the pavement level 10 feet from edge of pavement unless otherwise noted . ( See note referencing critical dune areas ) Clean sand from any area may be placed around the campground playground to bring that area back level with the surrounding pavement . Remove all sand accumulations to pavement level from following areas : day use parking lots islands between parking spaces and lots playground area paved roadways around the entire beach building dumpster pads including around fences and sidewalks , up to the 4x6 fence along Harbor Ave . south end of the day use area , south and west side of park headquarters , main entrance road , entire campground area including next to the toilet / shower building , entire day use picnic area , sanitation station ( including the dog walk area ). west end and east side of the Channel parking lot up to the pier rocks and around all chain link fencing ( both sides ). grading and sand removal surrounding the park lodge will also need to be done .
