Description | The Savannah Fire Department invites bids from qualified contractors for the design , fabrication , delivery , assembly , and installation of a shipping container - assembly building with fire training props and structures . This includes : • Modular heavy - gauge burn containers with bolt - in steel panels and non - exposed insulation . • Advanced burn and ventilation props • Forcible entry doors • Rappelling tower • Multi - level Standpipe System • Concrete foundation • Engineered design of bolt - in modular construction shall detail joining brackets for container - tocontainer connections and connections of containers to foundation . • The structure shall be designed , constructed , and rated for NFPA 1403 Class A Live Fire Training evolutions and certified to NFPA 1402 , Standard on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props , 2019 Edition . • Life safety anchors in stairs shall comply with NFPA and OSHA requirements . |
