Description | • Approximately 15 , 891 feet of loose tube fiber optic cable into an existing and new conduit and communication box system • Approximately 26 , 631 feet of loose tube fiber optic cable onto a messenger strand system supported on existing wood poles • Approximately eight ( 8 ) new fiber optic splice closures and 238 fusion splices • Work to re - enter and re - splice fibers at two ( 2 ) existing splice closures • Termination equipment at five ( 5 ) mission critical 24 / 7 District water and electric facilities • Approximately 2 , 400 linear feet of trench containing communication conduits • Two ( 2 ) conduit risers at poles and buildings • Seven ( 7 ) precast concrete communication boxes • Ancillary items such as cable management , fittings , labels , and other appurtenances • Fiber testing and documentation |
