Description | The objective of this service contract is to provide support to the Commission in evaluating the implementation of the 2013/2014 EU ETS compliance cycle, covering greenhouse gas emissions monitored during the calendar year 2013, at Member State level. Compliance with the regulatory requirements in Commission Regulation (EU) 600/2012 and Commission Regulation (EU) 601/2012 shall be evaluated and specific provisions of each Member State in relation to EU ETS monitoring, reporting, verification and accreditation shall be analysed. This service contract shall provide a scrutiny of the results highlighting best practices, shortcomings, inconsistencies among Member States, and making suggestions for improvement aiming at further harmonisation and increased efficiency. |
