Description | The Glynn County Airport Commission seeks to facilitate continued private aircraft hangar development at St . Simons Island Airport by preparing development - ready parcels . This program includes the construction of infrastructure to support the development of the proposed Skylane Hangar Infrastructure Development – Phase 2 . Proposed infrastructure improvements include grading , paving , stormwater management and conveyance , utility infrastructure ( water , sewer , fire protection , communications , electricity , site lighting ), pavement milling / demolition , pavement marking , fencing / gates , grassing , landscaping , and airfield lights and signage . The project included both FAA and GDOT asphalt mix materials . The program includes a Base Bid , plus three ( 3 ) Additive Bid Schedules which may be awarded at the discretion of the Commission . |
