New Mexico State University has multiple snack vending operations across its ’ campuses which service students , visitors , faculty , and staƯ . The University is seeking a supplier ( s ) to partner in supplying and servicing snack vending machines for these and all non - excluded University facilities with a variety of snacks further divided among the following snack categories ; traditional snack vending machines and “ other ” snack vending categories , as proposed by Participant . This information should be used by the Participant to prepare its Proposal and will constitute the terms of the Contract . The outlined descriptions are intended as a framework for required services . New Mexico State University reserves the right to revise specific service details in accordance with university requirements and regulations . B1 Requirement for Services New Mexico State University desires : B1 . 1 At no charge to New Mexico State University , the operation of a network of approximately 150 snack vending machines across the University campus and branch campuses . B1 . 3 The ability to purchase , at competitive prices , prepackaged snack products for retail sale and university operational functions and events . B2 Requirement for Equipment , Displays , Service and Delivery New Mexico State University desires : B2 . 3 Vending machines supplied must operate quietly and without disrupting campus activities . They must also meet University regulations , standards , and aesthetic requirements . Machine inventories should support remote monitoring to minimize out - ofstock situations . All vending machines will prominently display the Snack Company ' s name , a local service telephone number for reporting malfunctions , contact information for refunds handled by the Snack Company , and scheduled restocking days . Each machine will also feature visible and easily accessible serial or identification numbers for identification . The Snack Company will ensure that any refund procedures do not burden New Mexico State University with the management or maintenance of the refund program ...
