Description | The City seeks proposals from qualified clean energy developers for a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement (“ PPA ”) to ( 1 ) develop , own , operate and maintain a solar photovoltaic system at the New London Community Recreation Center ( the “ CRC System ”), 1 Recreation Way , New London , CT 06320 ( the “ Property ”); and as a bid alternate ( 2 ) provide Virtual Net Metering (“ VNM ”) offtake from solar photovoltaic clean energy systems in Eversource territory ( the “ VNM Systems ”) totaling no more than 9 MW - AC that will offset up to 12 , 000 , 000 kWh / year of the City ’ s Beneficial Accounts . The City and the Selected Bidder will participate in Year 5 of the Non - residential Renewable Energy Solutions program ( the “ NRES Program ”). |
