Description | Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound ( FLCPS ) intends to solicit and award a firm - fixed - price Supply - type Purchase Order for OEM Kahlenberg Industries Inc KPH - 90 Electric Piston Horn ( military version ). This requirement is sole sourced to Kahlenberg Industries Inc . due to being a Ship Critical Safety Item that requires direct replacement for form , fit , and function with existing equipment . Additionally , the supplies are required to be procured directly through the Original Equipment Manufacturer in accordance with approved ABS Drawings to support Transportation Alteration 649 onboard a T - AKE Vessel . Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement , which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement . A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government . |
