Eastern TimeITEM DESCRIPTION - Naval Surface Warfare Center ( NSWC ) Crane has a requirement for the purchase of a quantity of 20 , Circuit Card Assembly , Part Number 6643896 - 1 , CEU PWM Flex , and a quantity of 10 , Circuit Card Assembly , Part Number 6631619 - 2 , VME Power Flex with shipping costs . This procurement has a delivery required of 14 weeks after proposed award date . Inspection and Acceptance will be conducted at NSWC Crane by Government personnel . The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source only FCG , Inc . DBA Flexible Circuits , Inc . our of Pennsylvania , Cage Code 22928 , under the authority of FAR 13 . 101 ( b ). This is being solicited on a sole source only basis because FCG , Inc . doing business as Flexible Circuits , is the Original Equipment Manufacture of these part numbers made specifically to facilitate power transmission and relay power for electronics in both the electronics unit and turret unit of Raytheon ’ s Multi - Spectral System ( MTS ) B HD Triton System . Procurement through an alternate source would require a minimum of 16 months change in schedule for engineering assessments , reverse engineering , and development of the alternate source . All responsible sources may submit a capability statement , which shall be considered by the agency . However , a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government . Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement .
