6 . 14 Residential Trash Collection Services The Contractor shall Collect Trash one ( 1 ) time per week from each Residential Service Unit , on a scheduled Collection Day , all Trash placed at the Residential Service Units in Carts . The Contractor shall also Collect Trash in Carts from City - approved Alley Service Units locations and Modified Collection Locations for disabled residents at no additional cost to the City . Basic service shall include one ( 1 ) Trash Cart per Residential Service Unit with additional Trash Carts available for a fee . Proposers shall enter their proposed Contract Rates for Residential Trash Collection Services on Form 3A . [ Reference : Section 8 . 1 . 1 of the Agreement ] 6 . 15 Residential Recycling Collection Services The Contractor shall Collect Recycling every other week from each Residential Service Unit , on the same scheduled Collection Day as Trash , all Program Recyclable Materials placed at the Residential Service Units in Carts and haul it to a Recyclable Material Facility provided by the Contractor for Processing . The Contractor shall also Collect Program Recyclable Materials from City - approved Alley Service Units locations and Modified Collection Locations for disabled residents at no additional cost to the City . Basic service shall include one ( 1 ) Recycling Cart per Residential Service Unit with additional Recycling Carts available for a fee . The Contractor ’ s per - Cart fees for Recycling Collection , which shall include the cost of Collection , hauling and Processing at the Contractor ’ s Recyclable Material Facility . Proposers shall enter their Proposed Contract Rates for Residential Recycling Collection Services on Form 3B . [ Reference : Section 8 . 1 . 2 of the Agreement ] 6 . 16 Yard and Brush Waste Collection Services The Contractor shall Collect Yard and Brush Waste weekly or every other week , except for during November , December , and January when the City collects this material , on the same scheduled Collection Day as Trash and Recycling , all Yard and Brush Waste Bundles and Yard and Brush Waste Bags placed at the Curbside or Alleys and deliver them to a designated licensed Disposal or Processing Facility for Processing . The Contractor shall also collect Yard and Brush Waste from Alley Service Units at required at no additional cost to the City . Modified Collection Locations for disabled residents are not required for Yard Waste . The State of Missouri legislated a landfill ban on Yard and Brush Waste . If the Proposer plans to utilize a Missouri landfill , the Proposer shall collect Yard and Brush Waste separately and deliver the material to a licensed Yard and Brush Waste Processing Facility . If the Proposer plans to utilize a landfill based in a state without a landfill ban on Yard and Brush Waste , the Proposer can collect Yard and Brush Waste with Bulky Waste and send to a licensed Processing Facility . If the Proposer can divert yard and Brush Waste from the landfill at no additional cost to the City , the Proposer should describe that approach in their proposal .
