General Service Requirements Services shall be provided in a manner that minimizes disruption to school operations and maintains safe , clean , and sanitary conditions at all District sites . The Service Schedule reflects the District ’ s estimated current needs and may be adjusted during the contract term . The District reserves the right to increase or decrease bin sizes , quantities , and pickup frequency with reasonable notice . Compensation shall be adjusted based on unit pricing , and the District shall pay only for services actually received . Solid Waste Collection The Contractor shall provide solid waste collection services on a per - container , per - month pricing basis , as identified in the Cost Proposal Form in Section 6 of this RFP . • The Contractor shall provide , deliver , and maintain all required bins . • Unless otherwise specified , solid waste collection is generally required once per day , Monday through Friday , during the regular school year . • Collection times shall be scheduled to minimize interference with school activities . Sites adjacent to residential areas shall be serviced after 7 : 00 a . m . • Upon at least 24 hours ’ notice , the District may request adjustments to pickup frequency or bin quantities .
