This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal , nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach . This sources sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose . Requests for solicitation will not receive a response . All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U . S . Government . The U . S . Government reserves the right to reject , in whole or in part , any input as a result of this market survey . The U . S . Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey . If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date , a solicitation notice will be published . No award will be made as a result of this market survey . The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division ( NSWC IHD ), Manufacturing Department ( Code M2 ) has a requirement for one ( 1 ) new industrial battery - powered , custom - built , electric forklift with an EX rating and required safety modifications . This equipment will be utilized for the transportation of end items , which vary in size and weight , between different facilities across outdoor , level roadways . The contractor shall provide all labor , equipment , materials , transportation , and documentation necessary to deliver a fully operational forklift in accordance with the applicable specifications , which will be released with the final RFP . Applicable documents will not be released at this time . If interested sources feel as though they may be capable of meeting the Government ’ s needs , they are encouraged to respond as outlined below . Questions and Answers will not be considered at this time . An possibility for Q & A will be provided following RFP issuance , and will be outlined in the RFP document .
