Voyage Academy Charter School is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide speech - language pathology ( SLP ) services for students who qualify for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ( IDEA ) and Section 504 . The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor capable of delivering high - quality services while supporting the school in meeting all applicable federal and state special education requirements . The Governing Board of Voyage Academy will award a contract to the offeror whose proposal best meets the needs of the school , based on the evaluation criteria and cost considerations outlined in this RFP . The selected vendor will provide speech - language pathology services , including but not limited to : Direct Student Services • Speech and language therapy services for eligible students • Individual and small - group therapy • Services provided in accordance with student IEPs ; Evaluation and Assessment • Conduct Hearing Screeners for K , 1 , 2 , 3 and Special Education students . • Conduct speech and language evaluations • Screen and / or evaluate students in areas of suspected language dysfunction as identified by the RTI team or the IEP team • Prepare timely , written evaluation reports ; IEP Participation • Attend IEP meetings ( in person or virtual ) • Assist the IEP team in the development and revision of IEP goals / objectives • Provide progress monitoring and documentation ; Documentation & Compliance • Maintain therapy notes and service logs • Provide progress reports aligned with school reporting timelines • Ensure documentation meets IDEA and state compliance standards ; Collaboration • Work collaboratively with teachers , special education staff , and administration • Provide consultation as needed to support student communication needs
