Purpose : Each Spring , we provide attractions at the “ Spring Campus Carnival ” On Tuesday , April 21 , 2026 . Vendors need to let MTSU know which of the attractions are available on the above date . Goal : Our goal with the bidding process is to receive pricing structures for the Campus Carnival date . Listed below for each attraction outlined in the paragraphs at the end of this document . We have listed extra activities for date so that we can account for unavailability in our selection process . Awarded items will be selected from those available ; not all items bid on a date will be awarded . The items can be awarded as a package to one vendor or as separate individual items from different vendors . Loop O Plane Or Comparable Ride Dimensions : Rides need a 20 ’ W x 40 ’ L x 50 ’ H area Power Requirements : 240 volts / 100 amp 3 Phase The ride has two 16 - foot - long arms , each with an enclosed car at one end and a counterweight at the other . Each car holds four riders seated in pairs facing opposite directions making the maximum occupancy eight riders . Propelled by an electric motor , the arms swing in directions opposite each other until they ' loop ' taking the riders upside down . Photos pulled from the internet Rock O Plane Or Comparable Ride Dimensions : Rides need a 45 ’ W x 40 ’ L x 46 ’ H area Power Requirements : 240 volt / 100 amp 3 Phase It features 8 , 2 - person enclosed , oval - shaped cages that rotate on a vertical axis , similar to a Ferris wheel , while allowing riders to control the spinning or flipping of their individual . Paratrooper Or Comparable Ride It is a ride where seats suspended below a wheel rotate at an angle . The seats are free to rock sideways and swing out under centrifugal force as the wheel rotates . Invariably , the seats on the Paratrooper ride have a round shaped umbrella or other shaped canopy above the seats .
