SRD Vault Pumping Serviceshis is a non - personal services contract for vault pumping services for the Forest Service , Sitka Ranger District ( SRD ), Tongass National Forest ( TNF ), Southeast Alaska . The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein . Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who , in turn , is responsible to the Government . Purpose : The purpose of this contract is to ensure that vaults and septic equipment located in the Sitka Ranger District remain safe , sanitary , and fully operational throughout the open season ; comply with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ), National Environmental Policy Act ( NEPA ), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ) requirements ; and support the continuous , reliable , and sanitary operation of all units . Description of Services : The contractor shall furnish all labor , supervision , management , tools , materials , equipment , facilities , transportation , and all other items and non ‑ personal services necessary to provide vault pumping services at multiple sites within the Sitka Ranger District . Services include , but are not limited to , pumping , sewage disposal , cleaning , and backfilling to ensure all units remain safe , sanitary , and operational . All services shall be performed in accordance with ( IAW ) this Performance Work Statement ( PWS ) and all applicable local , state , and federal standards , laws , and regulations . Place of Performance : The work shall be performed in Sitka , Southeast Alaska . Period of Performance : The period of performance shall be for 1 Base Period of 12 - months and 4 Option Periods of 12 - months each . Amendment 0001 : This solicitation has been amended to extend the response due date to Thursday , April 16 , 2026 , at 1 : 00 PM ( AK Time ), providing offerors additional time to prepare and submit their offers . Amendment 0002 : This solicitation has been amended to extend the response due date to Monday , April 20 , 2026 ; address offeror questions ; and revise the PWS . Amendment 0003 : This solicitation has been amended to extend the response due date to Monday , April 27 , 2026 , at 1 : 00 PM ( AK Time ); change the ordering period from a 5 - year term to a 3 - year term ; and revise the PWS ( Attachment 1 ) and the Schedule of Items and Price Sheet ( Attachment 2 ).
