The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Georgia State University is providing public notice of its intent to contract IstosVisio, Inc./syGlass Inc. for visualization and analysis software and VR hardware components. This contract is for one year with four options to renew. The purpose of the sole source contract is to enhance research and student training in human-AI collaboration for complex image analysis. The equipment will also provide immersive research education and training experiences for undergraduate and graduate students, integrating cutting-edge imaging tools into lab-based learning and coursework. Any supplier capable of providing the identified goods/services may challenge this event determination by filing a written protest with the Deputy Commissioner of the State Purchasing Division (SPD) in accordance with the protest procedures outlined in Section 6.5.
