Description | The Collins Aerospace Proline Fusion system is the aircraft electronics and computer systems installed on our new airplane , the King Air N20MB . This integrated computer system controls nearly all the aircraft ’ s functions from communications , to navigation , to system monitoring . This system is similar to a computer ’ s operating system or OS , or a license for use of software . With this subscription we get the documentation and technical support for maintaining the aircraft . To be legal to fly , the software is updated every two to four weeks with navigation data , airport information and procedural changes in the National Airspace System . If updates are not completed the aircraft is restricted and then ultimately grounded . Please note : This is a Sole Source Notification . |
