All 23A Limestone must meet MDOT Specification . All haul routes must be identified in the bid proposal . State trunklines will be used whenever possible . There will be a 1000 cubic yard per day delivery minimum requirement . The Board of Road Commissioners reserves the right to waive this condition for whatever reason . Deliveries must be made during the normal operation hours of the Road Commission . No after - hour deliveries will be accepted . If the contractor purchases the limestone in tons , the following conversions shall be used : 2900 lbs ./ CY . All bids must be sealed with the contractors ’ name and the item being bid clearly marked on the outside of the envelope . The Board of Road Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or portions of bids in the best interest of Mecosta County . QUANTITY TO BE PURCHASED : All quantities listed are subject to increase or decrease depending on available funds for maintenance activities .
