Description | Sources Sought Notice 2026-SPRDL126Q0053 Item Name: Steering Gear NSN: 2530-01-581-0437 Part No: (78222) XD120SF1 or (75Q65) 3807652 Base Period Quantity: 3 each Option Period: 3 each End Item: Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) M746, M747, M911 The Government does not have a Technical Data Package (TDP). Per Sheppard’s website, the XD120™ steering gear is designed for extreme duty applications with single gear capability to axle ratings of 22,000 – 24,000 lbs. This gear is currently in use in heavy construction, mining, rigging, and military applications. Please note the following: *This notice is not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). *Qualification testing and evaluation are required to become an approved source. *Source approval does not guarantee business. *Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
