Swanton Village ( Owner ) seeks to retain the services of a general Contractor ( Contractor ), for the construction of a stormwater improvement project consisting of the implementation of three new stormwater infiltration basins within the Owner ’ s road right - of - way on Greenwich Street and Grand Avenue . The purpose of this Invitation to Bid / Request for Proposals ( RFP ) is to solicit proposals , establish a contract for the purchase of these services , resolve stormwater issues , and to comply with State and Federal Funding requirements . Scope of Work on Greenwich Street : The Contractor shall complete the following task items for the bioretention area : • MOBILIZE & INSTALL PROJECT DEMARCATION FENCE . • INSTALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES • MANAGE TRAFFIC CONTROL AT SITE • DIG SAFE CLEARANCE • EXCAVATE FOR 2 - 10 ’ X 25 ’ INFILTRATION BASINS ( 1 ON EACH SIDE OF STREET ) AND CONSTRUCT THE BASINS • STABILIZE SITE AREA AND RESEED • PROJECT CLEAN UP Scope of Work on Grand Avenue : • MOBILIZE & INSTALL PROJECT DEMARCATION FENCE • INSTALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES • MANAGE VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC CONTROL AT SITE • DIG SAFE CLEARANCE • EXCAVATE FOR 1 - 10 ’ X 40 ’ INFILTRATION BASIN ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF THE STREET AND CONSTRUCT THE BASIN • STABILIZE SITE AREA AND RESEED • PROJECT CLEAN UP
