1 . Collaborate with VVH and its stakeholders a . Reviewing and synthesizing the Board ’ s internal work completed to date , including current VVH strategic plan , survey responses , environmental scan , financial analysis , and identification of key strategic drivers and scenarios . b . Conducting limited supplemental interviews or focus groups , as needed , to validate or clarify findings . c . Facilitating meetings with the Strategic Planning Committee ( SPC ), senior leadership , and Board members to achieve consensus on long - term priorities and performance outcomes . d . Supporting VVH in aligning this process with the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework , ensuring coverage of leadership , strategy , workforce , and results . 2 . Identify and confirm strategic drivers a . Assist the SPC in refining the key external and internal driving forces shaping VVH ’ s future ( e . g ., funding mix , workforce stability , regulatory changes , Veteran population trends ). b . Support the development of an X – Y scenario matrix translating those drivers into plausible futures to guide planning discussions . c . Help the Board and staff articulate implications for mission , operations , and governance in each future scenario . 3 . Facilitate Board workshops a . Lead up to three ( 3 ) structured working sessions with the Board and senior management to : • Prioritize strategic goals and desired outcomes ;
