Description | The Wausau / Marathon Parks , Recreation & Forestry Department is accepting bids for stump removal and restoration for stumps located throughout the City of Wausau . 2 . The estimated number of diameter inches for stump removal is 7 , 800 . The final number of stumps removed will depend on the unit cost of the accepted quotation and available budget . 3 . All stumps to be removed are of various diameters and are located in boulevards or on other public property within the City of Wausau . Diameter measurements will be at ground level and will include surface roots and any raised or " humped " soil area from subsurface roots adjacent to the stump . All of the raised area shall be ground or otherwise leveled within reason to match the adjacentsoil level ( see attached example ). 4 . For all stump removals , the contractor is required to contact Diggers Hotline regarding marking location of buried utilities . |
