Supply of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) systems for deep learning

<b><i>Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/docsroom/documents/40287" target="_blank">intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. </a> </i></b><br></br>The Big Data Analytics project of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) is providing data storage and data processing services to various JRC scientific projects. In this context, deep learning (DL) tools and workflows are becoming an important field of data processing and analysis with growing demands of projects using the Big Data platform. Most modern tools and libraries for DL are optimized for processing with Graphic Processing Units (GPU). In order to serve the needs of scientific users for DL data analysis, the JRC intends to procure deep learning environments with multiple GPU adapters per system.
