Description | The City of Lancaster , PA (“ City ”) is seeking competitive bids to install a 42 ” finished Water Transmission Main from the Susquehanna Water Treatment Plant to the Oyster Point Reservoir ( approximately 15 , 520 linear feet of large diameter piping ) ( the “ Project ”). In general , the work under this contract consists of installation of approximately 15 , 250 linear feet of 42 - inch ductile iron cement lined transmission , seven blow off fire hydrants , three 42 ” air - release calves , thirtees42 - inch valves with four stream crossings and water fittings . The work consists of installation of the proposed lines as shown on the drawings ; installing , testing and disinfecting proposed fittings and pipe ; and securing into place ; and restoring the area to pre - construction conditions . |
