Description | The Sutton School roof is a black EPDM adhered directly to the plywood decking . Perform an IR Survey during a sunny day before repairs are done to confirm the condition of the roof system as well as a visual inspection in the attic . All saturated plywood sections should be removed and replaced with dry plywood prior to coating of the roof . Repair all open conditions throughout the EPDM roof system as well as the perimeter . Once that is completed the seams should be re - enforced with seam sealer and the field of the roof should be coated with a silicone coating at a rate of 150 square feet per 1 . 5 gallons . Coat roof perimeter and seams with a silicone mastic at 70 ’ liner feet / per gallon . Caulk all drip edge and vents throughout the roof system . |
