1 . Abide by all information provided by the CONTRACTOR in the Proposal in response to this RFP . 2 . Lessons will be paid at the rate ( s ) as indicated in the CONTRACTOR ’ s submitted Proposal . 3 . CONTRACTOR agrees to abide by and follow all policies within the “ Independent Contract Instructor Handbook ” and “ Independent Contract Instructor Proposal Information ” documents and any addendums . ATTACHMENT C . 4 . Provide excellent customer service , build rapport and be responsive to City Staff and Residents . This must be in line with current PCS customer service expectations as outlined in the Independent Contract Instructor Handbook . 5 . CONTRACTOR to supply all materials , labor , and equipment necessary to support the swim instruction program . 6 . Provide consistent Swim Instructors . 7 . CONTRACTOR to ensure all federal and state requirements for working with minors are adhered to for all employees including but not limited to employee background checks , reference checks , and tuberculosis screening process . 8 . CONTRACTOR and employees must meet all Mandated Reporter responsibilities as defined by California Penal Code . 9 . CONTRACTOR shall promptly handle customer complaints by working with the CITY to remedy the situation . 10 . CONTRACTOR should recruit Swim Instructors from San Ramon and give priority to qualified candidates that live in San Ramon .
