Description

The primary objective of this study is to systematically review studies reporting prevalence of chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis and trichomoniasis in 1) the general population and 2) population groups at risk in the EU/EEA, during the period 2012-2023. The general population include: -all -youth aged 15-24 years -pregnant women Population risk groups include: - MSM (all MSM, MSM using PrEP, MSM living with HIV, MSM engaging in chemsex) -sex workers (all, male, female, transgender) -People who inject drugs (PWID), (all, male, female) - STI/GUM clinics attendees (all, male, female, transgender) Relevant estimates from the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland are to be included and results reported in a technical report and a manuscript for publication in a peer reviewed journal. The systematic review should follow the Prisma checklist 2020.
