Description | Please note : This is a Sole Source Notification . Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to Technicuff Corp . for the ongoing and as - needed purchases of Technicuff 3 - in - 1 blood pressure cuff and hoses for adult , pediatric , infant , and neonate patients for nine ( 9 ) months , through December 31 , 2026 , at an estimated cost of $ 44 , 385 . 00 . This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3 - 205 ( 2 )( a ) of the County ’ s Procurement Policy as Technicuff Corp . is the sole manufacturer and sole reseller for Technicuff blood pressure cuffs . Technicuff blood pressure cuffs are the only non - OEM cuff compatible with the Stryker LP35 monitor / defibrillator with validated compatibility , accuracy , ease of use , clinical reliability , and durability required for use by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue . Alternative products lack formal compatibility with the Stryker LP35 , produce inconsistent measurements , or require recalibration and replacement too frequently for operational requirements . Additionally , Technicuff provides direct technical support and warranty coverage for their blood pressure cuffs . |
