This shall enable: verification of AIS data detection of vessels that do not send AIS (so-called "dark vessels") improved situation understanding and decision support in the operative contexts The coastal system has tested the use of non-cooperative sensor data from satellites in the summer and autumn 2025 through the company Vake AS's presentation and analysis system (vake.ai.).
