An audiovisual life cycle replacement project for the Dow Auditorium . Requiring a turnkey solution from a supplier who will provide all equipment , labor , installation materials , testing , & support . The University of Michigan (“ University ”) seeks proposals from qualified Suppliers of Audio Visual equipment . The University is undertaking a comprehensive redesign of the Dow Auditorium to enhance its audiovisual capabilities for live events , hybrid presentations , and symposiums . This project requires a turnkey solution from a single vendor who will provide all equipment , labor , installation materials , testing , training , and ongoing support for the complete audiovisual system installation . The project involves a clear division of responsibilities between the Supplier and Consultant . While the Consultant will handle control system software design and audio DSP software development , the chosen Supplier is responsible for device configuration ( following guides provided by the Consultant / Owner ), commissioning activities , and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure . The Supplier must coordinate closely with the University on aesthetic elements like equipment finishes and colors , work with furniture suppliers on device placement and cut - outs , and maintain professional cable management standards throughout the installation .
