The purpose of this research is to gauge public awareness related to an increase in millage rates , attitudes , and likely support of a potential ballot measure that would not only continue funding but would increase funding for public transportation services within the six cities of Grand Rapids , East Grand Rapids , Kentwood , Wyoming , Walker , and Grandville .
