B The microscope shall be equipped with a Schottky field emission gun (Schottky FEG). C A multi-stage lens configuration (illumination/objective/imaging) shall provide high-resolution observation capability. D The specimen exchange shall allow selection between automati and manual operation, and shall incorporate an auto-airlock mechanism with a two-stage pre-evacuation system. E The specimen stage shall provide 6-axis control and shall include tilt/rotation assistance. F A beryllium dual-axis TEM specimen holder shall be supplied. G The system shall include an observation chamber, small and large fluorescent screens, and a bottom-mounted CMO camera. H The system shall include environmental and auxiliary equipment such as a vibration isolation table, magneti field canceller, and cooling water circulation unit. I An energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS) compatible with and integrated with the TEM system shall be provided.
