Description | The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed proposals for disposal ( tipping fees ) and transportation for our Solid Waste Transfer Site . Elbert County generates approximately 75 tons per day of MSW . The transfer site is open 5 days per week . The per ton fee should be inclusive of all transportation ( must provide trailers ) and disposal costs as well as fees imposed by federal , state and local governments , and must be disposed of in a state certified landfill facility . The proposal will be for one year with the option to extend for two additional one - year terms . The contract will begin July 1 , 2026 . |
