TRASH REMOVAL & RECYCLING SERVICES 2026 - 2027 The contractor is to quote trash removal on a fiscal ( Twelve Month ) basis beginning July 1 , 2026 and ending June 30 , 2027 . Contractor is responsible for billing school district prior to the 25th day of each month to insure prompt payment of his claim for services . SPECIFICATIONS FOR TRASH REMOVAL 1 . Beekmantown Central School Main Campus , 37 Eagle Way , West Chazy , NY : a . Equipment Two ( 2 ) of the eight ( 8 ) yard and Two ( 2 ) of the ten ( 10 ) yard “ Trash ” containers with slant lids ( or equal ) to be supplied by the vendor . Located as one of each size in front and one of each size in back of the Main Campus Four ( 4 ) of the eight yard ( 8 ) “ Recycle *” dumpster containers with slant lids to be supplied by the vendor – Located with two placed in back of the Main Campus and two in front by the Main Cafeteria . If deemed necessary by the District , additional 8 yard Recycle container to be placed upfront of High School . Awarded vendor is to supply adequate number of labeled recycle containers for all participating recycling classrooms and common areas District Wide . b . Items to be removed : Empty two ( 2 ) eight yard and two ( 10 ) ten yard Trash containers ( or equal ) AND the all Recycling containers , all bags and barrel located in close proximity to dumpsters . There will be extra items generally at holiday times and after home athletic contests , these are to be considered as routing pick ups , i . e . Christmas support items and annual locker cleaning { for clarification locker cleanout requires a 20 - 30 yard open box container or equal }. c . Pick Up Schedule : ( 1 ) September 1st through June 30th , Trash will be three times per week on Monday , Wednesday and Friday , between the hours of 6 : 00 a . m . and 12 noon . Recycling to be two times per week or as required . ( 2 ) July 1st through August 31st , Trash is minimum of one day per week on Friday between 6 : 00 a . m . and 12 Noon . Additional pick - ups as requested . ( 3 ) Recycling every other week on Friday during the summer . 2 . Cumberland Head Elementary School , 1187 Cumberland Head Road , Plattsburgh , NY a . Equipment : Two ( 2 ) eight ( 8 ) cubic yard Trash containers ( or equal ) AND Two ( 2 ) eight ( 8 ) cubic yard Recycle dumpster containers to be supplied by contractor . b . Items to be removed : Empty two ( 2 ) eight ( 8 ) cubic yard Trash containers ( or equal ) and two ( 2 ) eight ( 8 ) yard Recycling dumpsters plus all barrels and bags located on loading dock . There will be Extra items generally at holiday times which are to be considered as routine pick ups , i . e . Christmas support items and special school programs . c . Pick Up Schedule : ( 1 ) September 1st through June 30th , Trash will be two ( 2 ) times per week , on Tuesday and Friday , between the hours of 6 : 00 a . m . and 12 noon . Recycling to be one time per week or ( 2 ) as required . ( 3 ) July 1st to August 31st , Trash is minimum of once per week between the hours of 6 : 00 a . m . and 12 noon and on a call basis as required if additional pickups are needed . ( 3 ) Recycling every other week on Friday during the summer .
