ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSThe City of Batavia is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide services for a tree planting andmaintenance program funded under NYS DEC Contract # DEC01 - C02887GM - 3350000 . Bids will bereceived by the Superintendent of Maintenance in City Hall , at One Batavia City Centre , Batavia , NewYork on or before 10 : 00am local time , May 1 , 2026 , at which time they will be opened and read aloud inthe City Council Chambers . Bid envelopes shall be marked on the outside “ Contractor Services – TreeGrant Program , Bid # 2026 - 03 .” Contract award is subject to approval of City Council . The selected contractor will coordinate with the Bureau of Maintenance and administrative consultant toensure all procurement , planting , maintenance , reporting , and compliance requirements are met . Specifications and bid requirements for said proposal may be obtained at the City of Batavia ’ s webpage , www . batavianewyork . com . All bids shall be submitted on forms provided by the City .
