Description | The Project includes phased construction of domestic water system improvements as the following : Phase 1 : Work of this Phase includes installation of approximately 2 , 200 linear feet ( LF ) of 8 - inch arctic high density polyethylene ( HDPE ) pipe to replace the existing 8 - inch ductile iron pipe ( DIP ) water main in the Indian Creek Subdivision ( ICS ), new hydrant assemblies , replacement of twenty - four ( 24 ) copper water services with jacketed insulated PEX pipe services with buried curb stops . Services will include electrical heat trace and home electrical connections with new circuit breaker . Phase 2 : Work of this Phase includes installation of approximately 1 , 800 LF of 8 - inch arctic HDPE transmission main from the ICS to Lower Village distribution main , installing new pressure pumps , pipe connections , pressure switches and control panel in the water treatment plant . |
